When making the move to a wholefood, plant-based diet in 2019, co-founder Ben Allan was amazed by some of the vegan food options available to modern conscious eaters. Switching to a vegan diet doesn’t mean giving up on the foods we love, or depriving ourselves of the joy we get from food. In fact, how amazing does it feel (and taste) to eat a delicious snack knowing that we are nourishing our bodies, our minds, and having a positive impact on the world around us!

The Better Food Co was established to help people bring the joy of plant-based cooking to your home in the most delectable and easy way possible. Our food mixes are designed to be nutritious, delicious and incredibly easy to make – just add liquids and bake, it’s that simple!

Each mix is lovingly crafted by the other half of The Better Food Co team, co-founder Jessica Beveridge. With years of experience in commercial food production, and over 5 highly successful years at the helm of The Milk Pantry, Jess has a true talent for crafting the perfect blend of flavour, nutrition and ease, to make The Better Food Co mixes the absolute best you will find!

Each of our products are exclusively plant-based, containing absolutely no animal products, and need no animal products to be made by you. There are no need for eggs, milk or butter; only water, plant oils or liquids to finish your mixes before they are baked in your oven!
